Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager/Business Analyst to partner with portfolio managers, middle office, trading desks, and technology teams in an Agile environment.

You will translate business requirements into functional specifications, prioritize the product backlog with Product Owners and technology leads, and drive continuous improvements across collateral processes, while ensuring regulatory compliance and clarity for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from portfolio managers, middle office, trading desks, and technology teams.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Product Owners and technology leads to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
• Support solutions improving efficiency, transparency, and compliance across collateral processes.
• Break down requirements and user stories into manageable deliverables for sprint execution.
• Facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Track delivery progress, risks, blockers, dependencies, and project priorities.
• Drive Agile best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide clear project updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Role Description

• Strong data analysis skills, including querying, validating, and interpreting datasets.
• Familiarity with portfolio management platforms such as Bloomberg, Charles River, or BlackRock Aladdin.
• CSM or PSM Agile certification.
