Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a senior professional to lead risk and control initiatives within Banking and Financial Services. The role requires strong experience in regulatory compliance, governance, and issue management across multiple business functions.

You will translate regulatory requirements into actionable project plans, work with Compliance, Audit, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and drive remediation programs using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery models.

• Experience in Banking and Financial Services, with focus on Risk & Control, Regulatory Compliance, Governance, or Operational Risk Management.
• Experience leading complex projects through full lifecycle, coordinating across Risk & Control, Compliance, Technology, and Operations.

Role Description

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field. Minimum Good years of experience in Banking and Financial Services, with significant experience in Risk & Control, Regulatory Compliance, Governance, or Operational Risk Management. Proven experience managing large-scale Risk & Control initiatives, regulatory remediation programs, audit findings, and control enhancement projects across multiple business functions. Strong understanding of banking risk frameworks, including Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Internal Controls, Governance, Issue Management, and Control Testing. Experience working with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including collaboration with Compliance, Audit, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs teams. Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, execution, governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Strong expertise in identifying, tracking, mitigating, and reporting project risks, issues, dependencies, and control gaps. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Risk & Control, Regulatory, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Business teams. Experience preparing executive governance materials, steering committee updates, regulatory reporting, and project status communications for senior leadership. Ability to translate business, regulatory, and control requirements into actionable project plans, milestones, and deliverables. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models. Experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely execution of project deliverables. Demonstrated success in driving control remediation, process improvements, and regulatory compliance initiatives within banking environment

Salary Range

CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 130,000 Per Year
