Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex banking and capital markets initiatives. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure governance, security, and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
• Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and delivery.
• Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive dashboards.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprising developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to quality, governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Track project metrics and provide regular updates to leadership and clients.
• Lead technical delivery for multiple projects/programs simultaneously.
• Work closely with architects and development teams to define solution approaches.
• Review technical designs, data flows, integration patterns, and implementation plans.
• Drive issue resolution, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate communication between business users, product owners, and technical teams.
• Ensure successful deployment, production rollout, and post-implementation support.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in project delivery.

Good years of experience in Banking/Capital markets Domain

• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
• Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and integration activities.
• Experience with Apache Kafka including event-driven architecture, messaging patterns, producers/consumers, and real-time data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of JSON, REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Experience working with ETL/Data Integration and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
• Having Reconciliation experience is good to have

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 130,000 Per Year
