Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Toronto to bridge business needs with technology.

You will develop strong relationships with stakeholders, translate requirements into detailed specifications, and own traceability from design through deployment. The ideal candidate has experience with Confluence, JIRA, data modeling, and basic Java understanding, plus diagramming in Visio.

Qualifications

• Project and systems analysis experience.
• Business rules and data model/mapping experience.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
• Diagramming experience (Activity, Sequence, Data Flow) using Visio.
• Experience understanding databases (executing queries) and reading basic Java code.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with business and internal stakeholder groups.
• Provide technical leadership and work closely with partners and stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and validate current-state technology capabilities and ecosystems.
• Support stakeholders in designing desired future-state solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including non-functional requirements.
• Own and manage traceability of system requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Promote innovation by applying subject matter expertise and generating forward-thinking ideas.
• Support implementation and post-implementation activities.
• Participate in quality management reviews, including reviews of designs and prototypes.
