Job summary

Portage in Montreal is seeking a temporary, full-time recruiter to support centers and head office recruitment objectives. You will build a pool of qualified candidates, fill vacancies quickly, and attract top talent through proactive strategies.

The role requires a diploma in a relevant field, at least 3 years in agency recruitment or executive search, bilingualism in French and English, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and social networks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in agency recruitment and/or executive search (headhunting).
• Ability to communicate in both French and English; strong written and verbal skills.

Job description

As part of a temporary position, you will contribute to achieving the recruitment objectives of the centers and head office. Through a proactive approach and innovative strategies, you will build a pool of qualified candidates, fill vacant positions quickly, and help attract the best talent to Portage.

Your daily routine

• Coordinate and participate in the various stages of the recruitment process for open positions;
• Update job boards and social media platforms;
• Conduct ongoing market research to implement initiatives that support talent attraction;
• Propose innovative attraction and selection strategies, including sourcing and talent search activities;
• Develop recruitment strategies tailored to different regions;
• Work closely with colleagues and managers on recruitment-related activities;
• Carry out special recruitment projects and perform other related duties as required.

Your experience

• University or college diploma in a relevant field (business, marketing, communications, human resources, or another related discipline);
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in agency recruitment and/or executive search (headhunting);
• Customer service-oriented;
• Excellent written and professional communication skills, with the ability to prepare correspondence in both official languages (French and English);
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms;
• High level of confidentiality, ethical standards, and empathy;
• Good understanding of the community sector and its realities;
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and a strong team player.

Your schedule and your benefits

• Job type: Temporary, full-time, 35 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours, starting as soon as possible
