Qualifications

• Surface mining knowledge through field assignments, dealer engagement, or commercial roles is a plus.
• Proven ability in business development, forecasting, and driving growth with strategic plans.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills to handle complex opportunities and risks.
• Strong communication and negotiation capabilities to persuade customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Coals & Metals Strategy and own commercial sales for surface mining products within your territory.
• Collaborate with Cat dealers to market, position, and support Caterpillar's surface mining portfolio.
• Provide strategic guidance to strengthen dealer performance and customer support capabilities.
• Drive forecasting, machine planning, rental and used equipment strategies, and customer account planning.
• Launch new products, technologies, and commercial initiatives based on market feedback.
• Recommend equipment and service solutions that maximize customer value and align with objectives.
• Assist with dealer business planning and programs to improve sales performance and price realization.
