Job summary

Astec, a leader in bulk material handling, is hiring Canadian Sales Manager – Mining. Remote – based in Saskatoon, SK, you will drive profitable growth across Canada for TerraSource/TSG lines, balancing capital equipment and aftermarket offerings.

You will develop territory strategies, manage full sales funnel, build key mining customer relationships, and collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Contracts, and Customer Service to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales leadership experience in mining, industrial, or power sectors.
• Strong background in capital equipment and aftermarket sales.
• Proven ability to drive growth across a large, geographically dispersed territory.
• Excellent business acumen and ability to structure high-value deals.
• Strong technical understanding of material processing/handling equipment.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• English required; French is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory strategies (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
• Manage the full sales funnel, from opportunity identification to closing.
• Balance sales across capital equipment and aftermarket offerings.
• Build strong relationships with key mining customers across Canada.
• Understand customer technical challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
• Actively monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Track and report performance vs. targets using Salesforce & Power BI.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data for forecasting and planning.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and commercial offers.
• Develop and support distributors and sales representatives.
• Evaluate partner performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Contracts, and Customer Service teams.
