Job summary

AdventHealth Ottawa is seeking a Supply Chain Receiving & Distribution Tech for dayshift, 7am–3:30pm. No weekends or nights. Role focuses on receiving, replenishment, and distribution within a hospital supply chain, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will inspect deliveries, match packing slips, process orders, tag equipment, and collaborate with clinical teams to maintain par levels and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of related experience in supply chain or customer service.
  • Proficiency in English; strong math and detail orientation.
  • Experience with ERP and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Verify deliveries against packing slips.
  • Process replenishment, picking, and receiving.
  • Tag and track capital equipment.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and returns.
  • Deliver supplies to designated areas.

Job Description:

Supply_Chain_Receiving_&_Distrib_Tech

Shift: Days, 7am to 330pm

No weekends or nights

Key Responsibilities:
  • Other duties as assigned. Assists with updating data associated with product conversions and participates in the design or maintenance of par location item layout.

  • Inspects and accepts deliveries, ensuring products match packing slips and identifying delivery locations.

  • Completes replenishment, picking, and receiving processes in the computer to maintain accurate records.

  • Tags capital equipment upon receipt and communicates necessary information to purchasing.

  • Resolves invoice discrepancies related to purchase orders and prepares items for return.

  • Delivers supplies, equipment, and packages to customers, ensuring accurate location delivery.

  • Picks up return items, performs daily par cart inventories, and delivers supplies to assigned areas.

  • Establishes relationships with clinical departments to ensure collaboration and provides feedback on par level adjustments.

  • Ensures par areas are orderly, properly tagged, and sufficiently stocked.

  • Disburses materials to various facility locations according to established routes and schedules.

  • Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Possesses basic math skills. [Required]

  • Communicates clearly and effectively in English. Can communicate directly with delivery drivers and clinicians. [Required]

  • Has computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. [Required]

  • Demonstrates knowledge of inventory, receiving, replenishment, and par-level concepts. [Preferred]
