Job summary

LOFT Community Services in Toronto, ON, seeks a Procurement and Contracts Specialist within the Finance team. You will oversee the full procurement cycle for goods, services, and consulting, ensuring compliance with the Broader Public Sector directives and LOFT policies.

This hybrid role requires 3–5 years of procurement experience, strong vendor management, and the ability to support internal teams with guidance while maintaining transparent, ethical sourcing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in procurement, sourcing, contract administration, or vendor management.
• Experience in not-for-profit/public sector procurement.
• Strong ethics, confidentiality, risk management, and transparent sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from planning to close-out.
• Prepare procurement documents including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Ensure compliance with LOFT’s procurement policies, Ontario directives, and funder requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and communications, including inquiries and debriefings.
• Coordinate vendor contracts and amendments, renewals, extensions, and terminations.
• Provide procurement guidance and support to internal teams.
