Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Contract Manager to draft and negotiate goods/services contracts, primarily supporting Transport Business Units. You will collaborate with Enterprise Procurement Group, category directors, and legal teams to align terms with Loblaw’s objectives.

The role requires strong contract drafting, negotiation, and procurement process knowledge, with emphasis on IT contracts and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BComm in business or equivalent.
• Understanding of procurement contract management process.
• External procurement and/or legal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and completes required agreements (Master Agreements, complex Statements of Work, Ordering Documents) by applying knowledge of contract law, company policy and stakeholder feedback.
• Review of supplier contracts for improvement opportunities and inquiries from business stakeholders.
• Analyze post-contractual obligations and contract life for value maximization and compliance.
• Assist with contract summaries for senior executives and proper filing.
