Job summary

TransUnion in Canada is seeking a Procurement Consultant (Buyer) to deliver procurement activity across Marketing, IT, HR, Professional Services and Facilities. You will develop tender and contract documents, drive continuous improvements and manage supplier relationships to support growth.

The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office, with strong knowledge of indirect spend, contracts and day-to-day P2P activity. At least 5 years of procurement experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of procurement experience.
• Experience in indirect spend categories.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Procurement experience in Financial Services or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders and engaging their support.
• Influencing peers to promote and implement procurement strategies.
• Understanding the business services roadmap and upcoming demands.
• Leading or supporting RFx, sourcing, negotiation and contracting activities.
• Managing the purchase order process with contract compliance.
• Identifying and driving continuous improvement of processes.
• Delivering on savings, cash flow and cost reduction targets.
• Ensuring supplier relationship governance with KPIs.
• Undertaking market analysis to identify new value opportunities.
• Producing standard and bespoke procurement reporting.
