Job summary

EY Canada is seeking an experienced Learning Leader to set the learning and curriculum strategy for the Canadian Assurance practice and oversee localization, governance and deployment of learning programs. The role demands alignment with global groups and Canadian needs while balancing regulatory requirements.

You will lead the end-to-end curriculum lifecycle, manage budgets, and develop leaders across the practice, collaborating with Talent, Quality and Practice teams to drive high-quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, Assurance, Audit, Professional Practice or Talent Development.
• CPA designation or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, HR, organizational development or instructional design.
• Experience leading enterprise curriculum strategy in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to leverage learning tech, data and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with LMS, MS Teams, SharePoint and 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic learning advisor to Assurance leadership and talent teams.
• Set multi-year learning strategy, priorities, roadmaps and success metrics.
• Own curriculum architecture and governance across Assurance by rank, role and service line.
• Translate standards, regulatory changes and risks into learning solutions.
• Oversee curriculum approvals with governance stakeholders.
• Oversee design, localization, translation, deployment and evaluation of learning programs.
• Provide strategic direction for Core Training in partnership with global teams.
• Oversee learning plans for new hires, transfers and specialized populations.
• Lead the Assurance learning budget and resource strategy.
• Coach and develop the Assurance Learning team and promote collaboration.
