Job summary

EY in Canada seeks a Learning Leader for the Assurance practice. The role guides strategy, governance, localization and deployment of learning, ensuring quality and alignment with professional standards.

It entails a 14-month contract with flexible hours during peak periods and close collaboration with global and Canadian teams. The position requires extensive experience in L&D within Assurance or related fields, CPA preferred, and strong stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, Assurance, Audit, or related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, accounting, HR, or related field is an asset.
• Experience leading enterprise curriculum strategy and governance in a complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic learning advisor to Assurance leadership and Talent leaders.
• Set multi-year learning strategy, priorities, roadmap and success measures.
• Own curriculum architecture and governance across Assurance by rank, role and capability.
• Translate priorities into timely learning solutions and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee curriculum approval processes with stakeholders.
• Oversee design, localization, deployment and evaluation of learning programs.
• Provide strategic direction for Core Training and other curricula with Global/Americas teams.
• Oversee learning plans for hires and specialized populations.
• Oversee Facilitator Excellence program and training standards for facilitators.
• Establish governance and documentation for learning compliance and reporting.
• Lead Assurance learning budget and resource strategy with L&D and operations.
• Lead and develop the Assurance Learning team to drive excellence.
