Job summary

EY Canada is seeking a Learning Leader to design and govern the Assurance curriculum, partnering with Practice and Quality teams worldwide. You will steer multi-year strategies, translate regulatory developments into learning, and oversee program development, localization and evaluation to enable high-quality audit execution.

This is a 14-month contract with possible extended hours during peak periods. You will manage budgets, teams and cross-cultural stakeholders, ensuring practical learning

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, Assurance, Audit, or related fields.
• CPA designation or equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, accounting, HR, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or related field.
• Experience leading enterprise curriculum strategy, governance and delivery in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Stays current with evolving standards, audit methodologies and learning technologies.
• Advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with LMS, MS Teams, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic learning advisor to Assurance leadership and Talent groups.
• Set multi-year learning strategy, priorities, roadmap and success measures.
• Own curriculum architecture and governance across Assurance.
• Translate priorities and regulatory developments into learning solutions.
• Oversee curriculum approval processes with stakeholders.
• Lead design, localization, deployment and evaluation of learning programs.
• Provide strategic direction for Core Training and other curricula.
• Oversee learning plans for hires and specialized populations.
• Lead Facilitator Excellence program and training readiness.
• Establish governance and documentation for learning compliance.
• Lead budgeting and resource strategy for Assurance learning.
