EMCO Corporation invites applications for a Strategic Development Program Trainee. You will progress through a 5-phase program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and more.

During Phase 1–5 you will gain hands-on experience in warehouse logistics, customer service, order management, pricing, credit management, and later transition into outside sales and account management to build long-lasting client and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• College or university degree required.

• Desire to continuously learn and grow.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication to build relationships with customers, vendors and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Progress through a 5 phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and more.
• Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics – learn the products we sell and how they move from vendor to customer.
• Phase 2: Operations – support customer service, counter sales, order management, pricing, credit and financial statements.
• Phase 4: Outside Sales/Account Management – find new opportunities, negotiate contracts, build relationships.
• Phase 5 – determine your ideal career path after training.
