Job summary

A healthcare organization in Saskatoon is looking for a Stores Technician to support the West of Scotland Rehabilitation & Mobility Centre. This role includes working in a multi-disciplinary team for the safe storage, retrieval, and delivery of wheelchairs and associated parts. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years in Stores and Logistics, a full driving licence, and good communication skills. This position requires dedication and practical knowledge in the field.

Stores Technician – Band 3

Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri either 8.00am to 4.00pm or 8.30am to 4.30pm.

An opportunity has arisen with West of Scotland Rehabilitation & Mobility Centre (WestMARC) for a Stores Technician, within our Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Wheelchair & Specialist Seating Workshop. WestMARC provides a range of rehabilitation technology services for the West of Scotland, covering 6 health boards delivered by clinical teams to wheelchair and seating patients and prosthetics patients.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the safe and accurate storage, retrieval and delivery of wheelchairs and associated parts within the WestMARC Service.
  • Be educated to SCQF Level 5 or similar and have knowledge/experience relevant to the post.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience with a proven track record in the field of Stores and Logistic activity.
  • Hold a full driving licence.
  • Desirable to also hold a forklift licence.
  • Good communication, team working, literacy, numeracy and practical skills.

Please be advised that, effective 1 April 2026, the full-time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.
