Job summary

Sephora Canada is seeking a Talent and Business Operations Manager to lead store operations and talent. You will oversee staffing, onboarding, scheduling, and execution of Sephora’s standards while reporting to the Store Director and collaborating with Client Experience and Beauty Services Managers.

You will conduct final interviews, manage training plans, and drive performance reviews. The role requires 2–4 years of management in beauty/retail, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service.
• Experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across store positions, including leadership.
• Proven ability to create high-performing teams and identify in-store talent for career development.
• Strong managerial courage to have tough conversations when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to influence partners at all levels.
• Experience using Windows, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Talent Champion: conduct final interviews for key positions using the store's ATS as needed.
• Training & Development: manage all training functions and execute the store's ongoing training strategy.
• Scheduling & Payroll: oversee weekly schedules and payroll processes to ensure timely payments.
• Performance Assessment & Development: write and deliver annual reviews for direct reports and oversee firm-wide processes.
• Operational Excellence: oversee store operations, inventory, shipping/receiving, and cycle counts per company standards.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: act as the expert on store performance, staffing, payroll, and controllable expenses.
