Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is hiring to support daily customer service, cashier operations and merchandising within a community store. You will help manage cash, train staff and maintain store policies while delivering care to customers.

The role covers loss prevention, product placement, inquiries handling and ensuring a clean, compliant store environment. Flexible tasks may include banking duties and general store responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Managing the customer service functions, including cash, cashiers and merchandising.
• Ensures cashier/merchandising staff comply with all store policies and operating procedures.
• Trains cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and provides on-going guidance.
• Ensures loss prevention standards are implemented and manages cash office inventory.
• Answers inquiries regarding product location, rainchecks, refunds and exchanges.
• Maintains store image, housekeeping and health and safety compliance.
• Performs other duties including cashier duties when necessary.
