Job summary

Diving Sports Canada, a Vancouver-based scuba retail and training centre, seeks a Store & Operations Manager to own daily operations and lead a busy team. You will drive customer service, merchandising, scheduling and cross-department coordination to deliver a smooth shopping and training experience.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in retail management, strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, and can implement systems to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team and prioritize in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and accountability for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations.
• Lead, schedule and hold the retail team accountable.
• Delegate tasks and ensure completion.
• Maintain high customer service standards and store presentation.
• Manage inventory, receiving and replenishment.
• Coordinate operations between retail, courses, rentals and service.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement better processes.
• Develop systems and procedures as the company grows.
• Support hiring, onboarding and training of staff.
• Collaborate with ownership on sales growth and business development initiatives.
