RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Day-to-day operation of the store
  • Leadership, scheduling and accountability of the retail team
  • Delegating work and ensuring it actually gets completed
  • Maintaining high standards for customer service and store presentation
  • Inventory organization, receiving and replenishment
  • Merchandising and improving the customer experience
  • Coordinating operational needs between retail, courses, rentals and service
  • Handling customer issues and making sound decisions independently
  • Identifying inefficiencies and implementing better processes
  • Developing systems and procedures as the company grows
  • Supporting hiring, onboarding and training of staff
  • Working with ownership on sales growth and business-development initiatives
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Has strong commercial judgment
  • Takes initiative instead of waiting for instructions
  • Notices problems and comes forward with solutions
  • Enjoys improving systems and finding better ways of doing things
  • Is comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for them
  • Can move comfortably between managing people, helping customers and solving operational problems
