Job summary

PADI dive center in Campbell River, BC, Canada, is seeking a dedicated dive professional for a permanent full-time role. You will manage daily shop operations, rentals, and client relations while supporting dive charters and PADI courses on our Ocean Guardian vessel.

You’ll lead social media and outreach efforts, assist with Divemaster tasks on the charter boat, and teach Open Water and related courses. A passion for diving and strong customer service are essential for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Strong sales skills and experience with customer service related to diving.
• Knowledge and passion for scuba diving and the underwater world.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in retail sales (ideally a dive shop) and POS.
• Dive certifications ideally as a Dive Master or Dive Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Daily shop operations including rentals.
• Maintaining the store’s visual display & establishing/expanding clientele.
• Preparing Social Media posts, dive charter announcements using mailing tools.
• Taking on Divemaster tasks on our own state of the art charter boat the Ocean Guardian.

Job Description

We are PADI 5* dive center located in Campbell River, BC, Canada and are looking for a dive professional to join our team. We offer dive charters, training, servicing and dive equipment rental. We operate our own custom made dive charter boat the Ocean Guardian with a hydraulic ramp and lift for safe and easy boat exit and entry.

Campbell River and the Discovery Passage is home to world-class cold-water diving. Our local and international clientele consider Oceanfix as one of best dive centers in British Columbia.

We are looking for a permanent full-time staff member. The ideal candidate is a passionate and dedicated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment and is looking for a long-term job in the dive industry as a professional. As a small business you will have the opportunity taken on various roles and the chance to develop your diving know-how and business skills.
