Job summary

Laura Canada is seeking a Store Manager in Edmonton to lead a dynamic fashion team and deliver a memorable customer experience. You will recruit, coach and motivate staff, drive sales and monitor performance to achieve key financial targets, while maintaining a vibrant and engaging store environment.

You will collaborate with merchandising to showcase products effectively and oversee daily operations including receiving, pricing and store presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a store management position.
• Ability to create a positive work environment where team members are motivated to learn and grow.
• Recognized for positive leadership and solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, develop and coach team members on exemplary customer service, program promotion, product knowledge and trends.
• Ensure that key financial objectives (sales, closing ratio, dollars per transaction, units per transaction, etc.) are met.
• Schedule effectively to provide optimal floor coverage.
• Act as a stylist to build a personalized wardrobe for customers.
• Monitor team performance through appraisal, coaching, conflict resolution and disciplinary action.
• Collaborate with merchandising to ensure attractive presentation of merchandise and adherence to standards.
• Support daily operations such as receiving merchandise, pricing, shipping orders/transfers and store cleanliness.

• Schedules effectively to provide optimal floor coverage.
• Act as a stylist to build a personalized wardrobe to the customer.
• Monitor team performance (appraisal, ongoing coaching, conflict resolution, disciplinary action, etc.).
• Collaborate with the person in charge of merchandising to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines while having an attractive presentation of merchandise.
• Support daily operations such as receiving merchandise, changing prices, shipping orders/transfers and keeping the store clean.
