Knix Wear, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Markham, Canada. You will lead from the floor, balance operations with human connection, and drive high-stakes results through on-floor leadership and radical accountability.

You will coach and develop leaders and sales associates to grow, perform, and succeed while maintaining a resilient, positive, and entrepreneurial mindset. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive the business and deliver a world-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior retail leader in an upscale, premium, or fashion-forward brand.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a dynamic environment; maintain motivation, focus, and performance.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with agility in change management.
• People-first leadership with passion for developing others and building buy-in at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by leading key sales initiatives and coaching the team to maximize sales.
• Leverage KPIs (traffic, CVR, AOV, UPT) to influence targets and pivot focus in real time.
• Lead floor presence during peak moments, instill urgency and bias for action.
• Conduct impactful floor meetings, training, and coaching for alignment and performance.
• Champion a customer-first culture to build trust and loyalty and drive repeat visits.
• Maintain inventory, shipment, and loss-prevention practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Support hiring and onboarding while developing sales talent and clear growth paths.
• Execute company and marketing initiatives, including in-store events and visual standards.
