Responsibilities include measuring, mixing, kneading, baking bread, operating bakery equipment, and upholding food safety, quality and clean standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Must be able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bakery principles, baking methods and food safety regulations.
• Experience with pre-ferments, levain, poolish, sponge.
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Able to stand long and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, scale, knead, hand-shape, and score bread.
• Bake traditional bread and bakery products.
• Operate bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, proofer, slicer).
• Adhere to quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
• Properly store food per safety procedures.
• Handle customer service inquiries and provide an exceptional experience.
