Freson Bros. in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Sourdough Baker for a full-time or part-time role at the Rabbit Hill location. The position offers a wage range of $17.00 - $25.00 per hour.

You will measure, mix, knead, and bake breads, operate bakery equipment, and ensure quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced team setting. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bakery principles, baking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Experience with pre-ferments, levain, poolish, sponge.
• Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• A passion for providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, scale, knead, hand-shape, and score bread.
• Bake traditional bread and bakery products.
• Operate bakery equipment (mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer).

We are hiring for a Full-Time/Part-Time Sourdough Baker with a wage range of $17.00 - $25.00 at our location in Edmonton, AB. (Rabbit Hill location)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Measure, mix, scale, knead, hand-shape, and score bread
• Bake traditional bread and bakery products
• Operate bakery equipment (i.e. commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer)
• Adhere to quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Handle customer customer service inquiries and provide an exceptional customer experience
