Job summary

Purolator is seeking a PM Sorter to join our Mississauga facility and ensure efficient sorting of freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

The role requires proficiency in English and allows for a 30-hour work week with shifts including Sunday 12:00–18:00 and Monday–Thursday 15:30–21:30, located at 590 Kennedy Logistics in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Specialized education is not required.
• No experience necessary.
• Language: Proficiency in English required for frequent communications with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
