Job summary

Purolator is seeking an AM Sorter for the Prince George Depot. Hours are 2:30 am to 9:00 am, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week. Starting wage is CAD 22.94 per hour with annual raises; top rate CAD 29.23 per hour. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and pass a criminal record check. Warehouse experience is an asset.

Responsibilities include unloading freight, loading linehaul trailers, preloading mail, and scanning shipments. English proficiency required for operations and communications.

• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 2:30 am to 9:00 am (6 hours per day, 30 hours per week gauranteed)
Wage: As per collective agreement (Current starting rate is $22.94 per hour with guaranteed annual raises. Current top rate of $29.23 per hour)

Description

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
