Job summary

Purolator is seeking a PM Sorter to join our Richmond warehouse team. The role focuses on sorting freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules, with a 20-hour work week and shift 2pm–6pm.

Candidates should have a forklift license or training and English proficiency; safety and efficiency are valued in our warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift license or experience an asset.
• Successful completion of the forklift training course.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks.
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Rate: $23.63/hour
