Purolator is seeking an AM Sorter in Corner Brook, NL, to support the fast-paced logistics operation. The role focuses on sorting and loading freight for timely client deliveries, with shifts from Monday to Thursday 5:00am–9:00am and Friday 5:00am–9:15am, totaling 20.25 hours per week.

• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted items and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Description

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
