Qualifications

  • Create Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) covering infrastructure requirements, hardware/software specifications, and network configurations.

Job Summary

The Solution Architect will provide infrastructure architecture expertise in servers, storage, networking, and data center planning. This role requires hands-on involvement in solution design, technical specifications, and architectural consultation, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure solutions for a leading Canadian power supplier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive solution designs, including system integration, security, compliance, and data flow models
  • Create Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) covering infrastructure requirements, hardware/software specifications, and network configurations
  • Provide advisory and consultation services to guide infrastructure decision-making
  • Support and lead projects involving Cisco, Azure, storage, server, and data center products
  • Collaborate with key vendors and stakeholders, including Client, IBM, and Cisco
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions align with TOGAF or related enterprise architecture frameworks
Required Qualifications
  • TOGAF or related certification in enterprise/solution architecture
  • 5+ years’ experience in solution architecture involving data centers, servers, storage, and networking
  • Proven track record of projects supporting Cisco, Azure, IBM, and storage technologies
  • Strong technical documentation skills, including Solution Design and TSD creation
