Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Rental Attendant to be the first point of contact for guests using rental equipment. You will ensure gear is fitted correctly, assess guest needs, and provide a safe, efficient rental experience in a welcoming atmosphere.

The role requires handling ski/snowboard equipment, maintaining safety standards, and staying current with training. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected in a fast-paced recreation setting.

Formación

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 20.4 kg (45 lbs) repeatedly.
• Comfortable with physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Able to work in cold or outdoor conditions for extended periods.
• Attention to detail when adjusting equipment and recording data.
• Bilingual is an asset.
• Previous experience in ski/snowboard rental or retail is an asset, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain all required certifications and training up to date.
• Ensure guest safety through proper equipment fitting and adjustment procedures.
• Provide high-quality customer service with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Fit guests with rental equipment including: skis, snowboards, bindings, boots, helmets, and poles.
• Ask appropriate questions about guest experience level, height, weight, and ability to accurately adjust equipment for safety and comfort.
• Input and verify customer information in the Northsoft system accurately.
• Adhere to operational procedures for equipment setup and guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental area, including workstations and fitting zones.
• Attend all required pre-season and ongoing training sessions.
• Be punctual and wear the required uniform in accordance with policy.
• Support other departments as needed, based on operational demands.
• Uphold Chicopee’s values and policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
