Job summary

The Wax Bench Snow & Bike is seeking a friendly Rental Technician to greet guests, rent equipment, manage the demo fleet, and assist with sales. You will ensure accurate checkout, payments, and smooth operations in a fast-paced shop environment.

Candidates with customer service experience, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task will thrive. Training is provided; a positive attitude and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience is an asset but is not required.
• Experience in customer service.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients to then offer the appropriate options, solutions, or resolutions within outlined policies.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Professional appearance and manner.

• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive attitude and answer their questions as required.
• Prepare and receive rental equipment.
• Calculate bills, collect payments and make change for guests.
• Cash handling and basic cash management.
• Clean and tidy department areas.
• Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
• Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
• Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, and suppliers.
• Observe and report any security issues to the Owner.
• Perform other duties as required.

The Rental Technician will be responsible for greeting clients, renting equipment, managing demo fleet and sales, checking in equipment to be repaired, providing guests with further knowledge and related options. The Rental Tech. must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients. They must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve to effectively deliver to internal and external customers.

Work Conditions
