Job summary

Michael Page International (Canada) is seeking a Senior Site Superintendent to oversee stacked townhome developments with underground parking. You will supervise site operations, coordinate trades, and work with the Project Manager to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Requires 10+ years of rough-in construction experience, a relevant post-secondary degree (MBA/M.Eng preferred) and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset to lead a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years rough-in experience as a low-mid rise Site Superintendent on stacked townhome developments with underground parking.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (MBA and M.Eng preferred).
• Strong team player with a solutions-focused mindset and ability to handle complex processes.
• Knowledge of designing and building large-scale multi-family construction projects.
• Additional tasks and duties as required by project needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the construction project and all site operations.
• Ensuring the quality of work and materials; QA/QC standards.
• Organizing and supervising site staff, trades and contractors and reporting progress.
• Ensuring health and safety plans and MOL requirements are implemented.
• Creating, monitoring and updating project schedules and reporting updates to PM/Senior Management.

Job Description

• Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site
• Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld - Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards
• Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
• Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed
• Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required

The Successful Applicant
