The Site Superintendent will oversee all aspects of commercial and light industrial building construction projects in Edmonton. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery.

• Manage day‑to‑day operations on commercial and light industrial building construction sites.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Resolve on‑site challenges and provide solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and management teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial and light industrial building construction, specifically with complex renovation / retrofits involving demolition components and occupied commercial space
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong software application skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
