Join Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services as a Site EHS Manager in Brampton, ON. In this role, you will lead Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) initiatives, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations. You’ll be at the forefront of developing a safe and healthy work environment for Amazon associates by executing policies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

About the role: Site EHS Manager

As a Site EHS Manager at Amazon, you’ll partner with the Operations Team to implement WHS policies and ensure compliance with safety standards. You’ll perform risk assessments, conduct WHS audits, and analyze incident trends to drive accountability and improve safety processes.

This role requires a strong ability to influence change, build trust with leadership teams, and lead a team of WHS professionals. You’ll also be responsible for training site leadership and associates, ensuring that all are knowledgeable of their safety responsibilities and that equipment and processes meet compliance standards.

Requirements / Skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with site leaders.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS experience at a site with at least 250 people.
  • Master’s degree and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
  • Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in dynamic organizations with diverse teams.
