What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage straightforward short-term disability (STD) claims from intake to resolution
  • Build and maintain strong service relationships with plan members, sponsors, healthcare providers, and internal partners
  • Gather and assess claims information efficiently to support claim management
  • Approve, pay, and manage STD claims in accordance with established processes
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal partners to meet service deliverables
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bilingual (French & English) required for client communication
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage high workload volumes effectively
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Capacity to handle job pressures without affecting team dynamics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Intermediate PC skills with MS Word and MS Excel
  • Previous experience in Group Disability Claims is an asset
