Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the store manager in executing daily operations during scheduled shifts. As a team lead, you will deploy partners, delegate tasks, and model the Starbucks Experience with friendly, efficient service.

You will ensure a clean, welcoming store environment, follow cash handling and safety procedures, and coach partners to deliver legendary service. Candidates should possess customer-service experience and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity and promotes Starbucks culture, values and mission.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume to keep store operations to standard.
• Anticipate customer and store needs and respond accordingly.
• Communicate information to the manager to create the Third Place environment during each shift.
• Assist with partner training and coaching as needed.
• Provide feedback to the store manager on partner performance.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and recognize changes in morale.
• Provide clear, timely coaching to partners on shift to improve performance.
• Deliver legendary customer service with a customer-first attitude.
• Execute store operations and organize opening/closing duties.
• Follow cash handling and safety policies to ensure partner safety.
• Collaborate with baristas to ensure quality beverages and service.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and presentation standards.
• Support recognition and continuous improvement initiatives.
