Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Canada to support store operations during scheduled shifts and assist the store manager. You will lead a team of partners, deliver legendary customer service, and uphold cash handling and safety standards to maintain a welcoming Third Place for customers.

In this role you will train new partners, coach the team, and ensure consistent adherence to Starbucks recipes and presentation standards while maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
• Ability to lead and train partners.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.
• Deploy partners and delegate tasks to create the Starbucks Experience for customers.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods to model leadership.
• Ensure cash handling and safety procedures are followed.
• Provide legendary customer service and respond to customer needs.
