Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the store manager in running daily operations and leading the shift team. You will delegate tasks, coach partners, and ensure a legendary Starbucks Experience for customers.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to maintain performance under high volume while upholding Starbucks policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and cues.
• Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the Third Place environment during each shift.
• Assists with new partner training by reinforcing successful performance and giving coaching as needed.
• Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude.
