Job summary

Crumbl Crossroads Station in Winnipeg is seeking a Shift Lead to guide the team during shifts, ensuring operations run smoothly and according to Crumbl standards.

You'll work with the General Manager to lead, coach, and support staff, maintain high service levels, and uphold safety and quality in a fast-paced bakery environment. Leadership experience is valued, with opportunities for growth within Crumbl Winnipeg.

Responsibilities

• Serve as designated key holder and manage store security and keys.
• Open and/or close the store according to procedures.
• Lead and supervise team members on shift to meet performance and service standards.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and overall team performance.
• Communicate tasks and priorities clearly to staff and GM.
• Provide hands-on coaching and support throughout shifts.
• Ensure Crumbl standards for dessert quality, cleanliness and customer service.

As a Shift Lead at Crumbl Crossroads Station, you will play an important leadership role in ensuring each shift runs smoothly, efficiently, and to Crumbl standards.

Shift Leads work closely with the General Manager and are responsible for leading the team during their assigned shifts. In addition to performing the responsibilities outlined in the Baker position, Shift Leads provide direction and support to team members, help maintain accountability, monitor performance, and create a positive and productive work environment.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, confident leaders, strong communicators, and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience. Previous leadership experience is considered an asset.

• Serve as a designated key holder for the store and take responsibility for the security and proper use of store keys
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the store when scheduled, following all required procedures
• Lead and oversee team members throughout assigned shifts
• Ensure employees are meeting performance and service expectations
• Clearly communicate tasks, priorities, and expectations to team members
• Provide hands‑on coaching, guidance, and support throughout the shift
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and overall team performance
• Help track key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate relevant information to the General Manager
• Ensure daily tasks, production goals, and deadlines are completed
• Maintain Crumbl's standards for dessert quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service
• Help create a safe, clean, organized, and positive working environment
• Handle customer concerns professionally and help provide solutions when needed
• Lead by example and contribute wherever needed during busy periods
• Communicate shift updates in slack, concerns, and employee performance to the General Manager
• Follow all company policies, procedures, food safety requirements, and operational standards
