The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the following session:

2025‑2026 Regular Session

Course Number, Section, and Name: CMPT 146.3 (01) Principles of Computer Science for Engineers

Term and Course Dates: Term Two (February 23 – May 3, 2026)

Delivery Mode: This course is currently scheduled to be delivered in person

Course Schedule: February 23 – April 12: Tuesday/Thursday 8:30 am – 9:50 am. April 13‑19: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 1:30 pm – 4:20 pm, Tuesday 1:00 pm – 3:50 pm. April 20‑26: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 1:30 pm – 5:50 pm, Tuesday/Thursday 1:00 pm – 5:20 pm. April 27 – May 3: Monday/Wednesday 1:30 pm – 4:20 pm, Tuesday 1:00 pm – 3:50 pm

Expected Enrollment Limit: 100

Qualifications: Minimum of a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience. Teaching experience will be considered an asset.

A valid driver’s license is required for off‑campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
