Job summary

Infotek Consulting Inc. is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Administrator to backfill critical ITSM initiatives. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Systems Administration and an active CSA certification, with development and integration experience preferred.

The hybrid arrangement includes 2 days onsite weekly, potentially increasing to 4 days, to support ongoing projects and deployments. Responsibilities span design, implementation, and governance of ITSM solutions, with after-hours

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow Systems Administration experience.
• Active ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Experience with development and integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT Service Management solutions per policy and standards.
• Support incident, problem, change, and service request management with governance.
• Provide technical leadership across system integration and application development.
• Promote best practices for ServiceNow development and administration.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to define scope and estimates.
• Review vendor artifacts to ensure they meet requirements.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews for IT Service Management.
• Troubleshoot production and testing issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform after-hours maintenance and deployments as required.
• Deploy code and configurations across multiple ServiceNow instances.

Job description

• Extension: Possible, up to 2 additional years

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• On-Call: Every other week, including evenings and weekends
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid — currently 2 days onsite per week; may increase to 4 days

Candidate Profile

• Education: Any post-secondary education
• Certification: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — mandatory
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
• Preferred Background: Strong ServiceNow administration experience, development experience, and preferably integration experience

Candidates must have:

• 5+ years of ServiceNow Systems Administration experience
• Active ServiceNow CSA certification

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT Service Management solutions in accordance with established policies and standards.
• Support solutions for incident, problem, change, and service request management while considering risk, cost, controls, governance, compliance, and business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership across system integration and application development.
• Promote best practices for ServiceNow development, administration, and integration.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to define scope and provide accurate estimates.
• Review technical artifacts and deliverables from vendor partners to ensure they meet solution requirements.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews for IT Service Management solutions.
• Troubleshoot production and testing issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Recommend corrective actions and lead resolution efforts.
• Perform after-hours maintenance and deployments as required.
• Provide support to maintain system availability.
• Deploy code and configurations across multiple ServiceNow instances.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of ServiceNow Systems Administration experience
• ServiceNow CSA certification

Nice-to-Have Skills

• ServiceNow development experience
• ITIL 4 certification or experience
• ServiceNow integration experience
