Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a Service Technician (Diesel Engine) to support fleet maintenance and repairs in a dealership setting.

You will review repair orders, perform diagnostics, and ensure safe, organized work areas while documenting findings for smooth job transitions. The role requires a Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification, Cummins certification, and at least 5 years in the trucking sector, with opportunities for extensive dealer training at our Red

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• Cummins engine certification and experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
• A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician (Diesel Engine) is responsible for supporting our customers with their fleet engine maintenance and repairs including the following:
