Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. in Alberta is seeking a Service Technician to work in a customer facility in Didsbury. The role focuses on inspections, diagnostics and repairs with emphasis on Cummins and PACCAR engines, safety, and quality service.

Ideal candidates bring a Red Seal journeyman credential with CVIP license and at least 5 years in the truck/transport industry. Training and advancement opportunities are offered within the dealer network.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck & Transport Journeyman certification required.
• Commercial vehicle inspection license (CVIP) required.
• Experience with Cummins engines and training.
• Experience with PACCAR and Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years of experience in the truck/transport industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for service jobs by reviewing repair orders, tools, parts and information.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs per procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep work area clean and organized.
• Document findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues.
• Close out repair orders accurately and facilitate transitions to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills and guiding their development.
• Foster a safe work environment by promoting proper practices and maintaining tools.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to work as an embedded dedicated technician in a customers facility in the Didsbury, Alberta. The preferred candidate will be self motivated and able to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician is responsible for assisting our customers with their fleet maintenance and repairs including the following:

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• A commercial vehicle inspection license is required
• A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with PACCAR and/or Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years' experience working in the truck and transport industry.
