Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Service Technician to perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks within a dealership environment.

You will review repair orders, gather tools and parts, document findings and ensure a clean, safe work area. Required Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck & Transport Journeyman, CVI License, and Cummins diagnostics experience with 5 years in the truck/transport industry.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck & Transport Journeyman required.
• CVI License is required.
• Experience with Cummins engines and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders, gathering tools, information and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs following procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper condition and keep work area clean and organized.
• Document findings and work and communicate additional issues.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support transitions to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices and support their development.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• A CVI License
• A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
• A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location.
