Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to support fleet maintenance and repairs at our Red Deer location. You will review repair orders, gather tools and parts, and work safely to restore vehicles to proper condition.

You bring a Red Seal Heavy Duty or Journeyman qualification, a valid CVI License, and Cummins engine diagnostics experience, plus at least five years in trucks and transport. Our program offers extensive dealer training and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare service jobs by reviewing orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs per procedures.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep work area organized.
• Document findings and communicate additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and aid smooth transitions to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices and support their development.
• Promote a safe work environment and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician is responsible for assisting our customers with their fleet maintenance and repairs including the following:

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• A CVI License
• A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
