Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a Service Technician (HET - Truck and Transport Mechanic) to diagnose, maintain and repair diesel engines in a dealership setting. You will review repair orders, gather tools and parts, and perform inspections and repairs to restore vehicles to peak condition.

You will document findings, close out orders, and mentor technicians and apprentices while promoting a safe, organized work environment and adhering to procedures.

Qualifications

• Red Seal heavy‑duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• Cummins engine certification and experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience in the truck and transport industry.
• Desire to embrace dealer training opportunities at Red Deer location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
