Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Service Sales Account Manager to support customers across British Columbia by promoting and selling our Engineering & Service portfolio. You will strengthen the reliability and lifespan of critical power assets for utilities and industrials, aligning their goals with advanced service solutions.

You will build trusted relationships, drive regional sales, and forecast pipeline using Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher required; able to sell large project solutions.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience with at least 3 years direct customer contact.
• Knowledge of energy markets and customers including utilities, EPCs, data centers, oil & gas, renewables.
• Experience selling service offerings and power/grid equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, expand, and strengthen service business with key accounts in BC.
• Build long-term customer relationships by understanding needs and aligning solutions.
• Drive sales across the Engineering, packaging & Service portfolio.
• Prepare customer and regional sales plans with marketing and stakeholders.
• Identify and develop regional market opportunities with market managers.
• Monitor trends to shape sales and marketing approaches.
• Grow and manage the opportunity pipeline with accurate forecasting (Salesforce).
• Review installed base information and propose asset-based opportunities.
• Maintain market insights on competition to support decisions.
• Demonstrate safety and integrity while supporting business goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
