Finning Canada is seeking a Service Planner in Fort McMurray, AB. You will bridge customers and our service operations to plan, coordinate, and manage repairs and rebuilds from start to finish in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The role emphasizes accurate scoping, timely scheduling, and budget adherence, with duties spanning customer liaison, estimates, and proactive issue resolution. 7x7 in-office rotation applies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in equipment service, maintenance, parts, warranty, repair planning, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with Caterpillar equipment, heavy equipment, engines, or industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of repair processes.
• Experience developing estimates, quotes, and service plans.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of the customer within the service organization.
• Partner with Product Support, Equipment Sales, Service Operations, Parts, and Administrative teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the Finning network to ensure equipment and components move efficiently through the repair process.
• Maintain strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What We're Looking For
