Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader in Pickering, Ontario. The role focuses on maintaining a positive customer experience, ensuring safe and quality food, training the crew, and keeping the line organized.

The duties include staffing, food safety compliance, and supporting kitchen and front-of-house operations. Ideal candidates will have restaurant experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge of cash handling and food safety policies.

Qualifications

• Cash handling policies and procedures
• Food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Help resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety, including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, shelf life checks, and Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front of house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with office admin duties like banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are ordered
• Ensure adequate quantity of supplies
